Schedule: M-F 2nd Shift 2:30pm-12:30am

Heavy Forklift Operator Job Description:

PrideStaff is recruiting for a Heavy Forklift Operator with 3-5 years of Forklift experience to process and organize incoming stock and materials, pick and fill orders from stock, and pack and ship orders. The ideal Forklift Operator has previous Heavy Duty Forklift experience(25k LBS), is a self-starter who is highly organized, and works efficiently and effectively to accomplish and complete a task. The Heavy Forklift Operator is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Houston, TX.

Heavy Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Shipping & Receiving Unloading Trucks & Checking in Merchandise
• Follow Directions to Sort and Place Material or Items on Racks, Shelves, or Bins
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment by Keeping Shelves, Pallet Areas, & Workstations Clean and Mopped
• Wear All PPE and Safety Equipment at All Times
• Work Other Assigned Tasks as Needed

Heavy Forklift Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 3-5 Years of Pipe Yard & Forklift Experience
• Experience Operating a Heavy Duty Forklift (25k Lbs) & and Forklift Certification Required
• Previous Experience Handling Pipes (Carbon & Steel) Strongly Preferred
• Must be able to Lift up to 50lbs
• Stand, Reach, Climb, Kneel, Bend, Walk & Stand For Extended Periods at a Time
• Follow All PPE & Safety Rules
