As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal reporting procedures. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
