Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver - New CDL Holders Welcome

Based out of Shafter, CA, this Walmart account puts new CDL-A holders on set routes into California and Nevada, right alongside an experienced driver.

Lane Details:

• No CDL-A driving experience required. New CDL-A holders are paired with an experienced driver to learn the account.

• No-touch freight; single-stop drop and hook, with a possible backhaul into the distribution center

• Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week

• Freight originates at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with deliveries throughout CA and NV

• Home Time: Home approximately 2 days per week on average; typically off 34-48 hours per week with the possibility of getting home mid-week

• Shifts for this fleet start between 3 PM and 9 PM

• Band pay based on experience, Stop pay

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions, pulling 53-ft dry van and reefer trailers

• Trucks must be parked at the Shafter Walmart DC: 2701 Driver Road, Shafter, CA 93263

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• 21 years of age or older

• No prior driving experience required. This fleet is designed to help new CDL-A holders get started

• Transportation to commute to work
