Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to join our engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end technologies .
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework .
- Develop Python-based APIs, automation scripts, data-processing solutions, and integrations.
- Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 .
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices .
- Work with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven platforms .
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB , etc.
- Implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, product, and business teams.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
- Strong Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
- Hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and Microservices .
- Experience with React or Angular .
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript .
- Experience with Kafka, MQ, or event-driven architecture .
- Strong SQL/database experience.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab .
- Experience with AWS or Azure .
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Java 11/17/21 experience.
- Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django .
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- Redis.
- AWS services.
- AI/ML or GenAI integration experience.
- Financial services/banking experience.
Interview Requirement
Candidates must be available for a Face-to-Face interview in Charlotte, NC.
Local candidates or candidates who can reliably commute/relocate to Charlotte are preferred.
