Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with IEP development and implementation
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction strategies for various learning styles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviors effectively and with sensitivity
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based setting is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Develop, update, and monitor progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Work closely with general education staff, parents, and support professionals to encourage academic and behavioral success
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom culture that supports student self-esteem and independence
• Utilize assessments and data to inform instructional decisions and adaptations
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and ongoing training sessions
