Millwright - Per Diem OfferedTrillium Construction is now seeking experienced Journeyman Industrial Millwrights for a major shutdown project at a Woodgrain facility in Towanda, PA, starting October 1st through October 31st.This is a heavy industrial shutdown requiring Journeyman-level millwrights with a minimum of 5 years of heavy industrial experience. Candidates will be responsible for the complete tear-out and replacement of a large industrial press machine, including press removal and installation, heavy rigging, equipment setting and alignment, demolition, bolt-up work, torch cutting, plasma cutting, and additional mechanical duties as directed by site supervision.This is a full shutdown schedule of 7 days per week, 12 hours per day, with both day and night shifts available: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Pay is $34/hour, with $194/day per diem paid all 7 days of the week. Travel pay is available at $0.60 per mile, capped at $800 one way (travel in and out). Candidates must be able to commit to the entire shutdown from October 1st through October 31st and be available to work the full 7-day, 12-hour schedule without planned time off during the project.Candidates are responsible for providing their own tools of the trade and must wear standard PPE, including hard hat, clear safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, long pants, long sleeves, and harness.Candidates must have proven heavy rigging experience and be comfortable safely moving and setting large industrial equipment using chain falls, come-alongs, hydraulic jacks, machinery skates, and other standard rigging equipment. Previous experience removing, setting, installing, and aligning industrial presses or other large production equipment is highly preferred. During the demolition phase, all millwrights will be required to perform torch cutting and plasma cutting, so candidates must be experienced and comfortable performing this work. Candidates will also be working at heights of up to 60 feet from lifts and scaffolding, so they must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely operating lift equipment. This position is intended for experienced Journeyman-level millwrights who are confident working independently in a heavy industrial shutdown environment. Strong heavy rigging, press installation, equipment alignment, and demolition experience is highly preferred.
