Job Description Job Description We are a growing manufacturer in the progressive stamping industry seeking a motivated Tool & Die Machinist to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with foundational machining knowledge, technical training, or hands-on experience looking to build a long-term career in tool and die. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of progressive stamping dies and related components (punches, die sections, strippers, etc.) Operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, and surface grinders Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and die layouts Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production efficiency Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: Basic machining experience or trade school training (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow within tool & die Reliable attendance and solid work ethic What We Offer: Competitive pay and benefits package First-shift schedule with consistent hours On-the-job training and opportunities for skill development and advancement in a specialized trade
