Position Highlights Expanding Department: Supporting ongoing growth in surgical volume and increasing robotic surgery cases Exposure to Multiple Specialties: Opportunities in General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, and more. Skill Development: Assist on a variety of cases across multiple specialties to broaden your surgical skills, including robotics. Experienced Team: Collaborate with 3 other PAs, each with 20+ years of experience in their specialties, fostering a strong team environment. Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or on‑call responsibilities. Position Summary The Surgical Services Physician Assistant (PA) plays a key role in supporting an expanding surgical department at PHGSH. This position provides hands‑on experience across multiple surgical specialties—including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, and robotic‑assisted procedures—while working alongside a team of experienced surgeons and PAs. The PA will assist in both the Main OR and ASC, contributing to high‑quality patient care, broadening surgical skills, and gaining mentorship from seasoned surgical professionals. This role is ideal for a motivated PA seeking professional growth, exposure to diverse procedures, and the opportunity to help a thriving surgical program meet increasing demand.
