Job Description Job Description About the Role: Part-Time Monday-Friday 20 hours per week Join the South Fulton Senior Services team as a Senior Center Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our senior community. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support our programs and services in a friendly and engaging environment. Responsibilities: * Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities for seniors. * Provide support and companionship to participants, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. * Coordinate transportation and manage attendance for scheduled events. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the center and its resources. * Assist with meal preparation and distribution during meal programs. * Document participant feedback and report any concerns to management. * Engage with families and caregivers to enhance communication and support. * Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; experience in senior care preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. * CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. * Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation. * Positive attitude and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
