Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
This weekend-only NICU Nurse position requires professionals skilled in providing specialized neonatal care in a Level III or IV NICU setting. The role involves working exclusively on weekends with additional night shifts during the week, offering critical support to neonatal patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
• Follow established protocols and documentation procedures using EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Float to other departments at AMBH and to SR NICU as needed, ensuring seamless patient care.
• Adhere to all travel compliance requirements, including timely submission of documentation and RTO dates.
• Maintain current certifications and licenses, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of recent NICU experience, preferably Level III or IV.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR and PALS (AHA only).
• Hold a current, in-hand nursing license for submission.
• Have recent travel experience and ability to work weekends exclusively.
• Show ability to work nights (19:00-07:00) and handle floating assignments.
• Be willing to comply with nicotine-free campus policy and travel requirements.
