Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics (OB)

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Rate: Up to $2525.00 Gross Weekly + benefits from day 1
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-Call Required

Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local or Travel Accepted

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Obstetrics, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to work Labor & Delivery and Postpartum on a rotational basis

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current Ohio RN License
• BLS Required
• NRP Required
• STABLE Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and postpartum patients
• Perform maternal and newborn assessments and monitor patient status
• Support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Educate patients and families regarding postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records
• Respond appropriately to obstetrical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Follow all facility policies, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines

Additional Information

• Every 3rd weekend required
• On-call required
• Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when called in
• Required to rotate between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
