Job Summary And Qualifications Utilizes Medical Technician skills and training to perform test of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of a patient’s medical situations. Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with supervision. What You Will Do In This Role: You will perform routine, complex or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological and immunoassay procedures on body fluids. You will communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, business office, and medical records) to provide for continuity of patient care and to meet the needs of the customers we serve. You will demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed. You will perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure. What Qualifications You Will Need: Bachelor Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution. Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
