eCommerce Data AnalystLocation: Plano, TXPay Rate: 68.00/hrSchedule: Fully on-site, Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices and appliances located in Plano, TX.Top SkillsDemand planningBusiness analysisFinancial analysisResponsibilitiesHands-on to build sales forecasting using several variables (Traffic, Seasonality, multiple promos etc.)Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecast for both quantity and revenuePromotional analysis for attribution, elasticity and ROI/financial analysisBuild a play book to use Promotional lift and to recommend promos to achieve goalsDevelop monthly/quarterly targets and distribute the targets to various categories/channels and traffic drivers for EcommerceSupport supply chain team/process on forecast and demand/supply alignmentDeep understanding of Mobile promotions, sales and channel actionsKnowledge of supply chain management, PSI management, supply planning is requiredImprove long term forecasting w/suitable analytical methodologiesUse advanced analytics methodologies such as ML/AI forecasting methodologies for sales forecastingKnowledge of building agents for supply chainCreate presentations with compelling data driven story to share with leadership, cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendationsWork with Category Management, Finance and Operations team to define and work on gap closuresRequirements6+ years of experience in Ecommerce business planning, category management and/or data and analytics-intensive role with an emphasis on Quantitative analyticsBachelor's degree in Business/Economics or in math/analytics/engineering is requiredHands-on with advanced excel with attention to detail to integrate complex data to build forecasting and to perform analysisKnowledge of ML/AI models for forecasting, pricing and promotional analytics for business analytics will be a plusExperience of writing code for ML in Python and building agents will be a plusExperience with Financial analysis to build business cases and to create P&L analysisAdaptability, using advanced preparation to quickly pivot throughout the weekExceptional presentation skills with good Microsoft PowerPoint capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsMBA would be a plusExperience of working with Telecom, Technology, Consumer Electronics and/or Retail industry is strongly preferredCreative thinker with excellent business acumen, analytical skills and experience with statistical modelingHigh level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organizationStaffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package!
