Phlebotomist II - Float

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II - Float to support our client's medical facility, located in Coral Springs, FL 33065. This is a 5-month contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Coral Springs, FL 33065

Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, working 8 hours per day, with rotating Saturdays.

Pay Range: $22.79–$24.41/hour + $0.72 per mile mileage reimbursement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Work Experience:
• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred
