Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Oncology Inpatient in Cumming, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range of $1,542–$1,605 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 Days in a hospital setting travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient Med Surg Oncology unit.
- Monitor patient status, administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, and document findings in the electronic health record.
- Assess changes in patient condition and respond appropriately; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans.
- Perform routine nursing duties (vital signs, wound care, IV management, catheter care) and support oncology-related treatments as ordered.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to quality, infection control, and medication reconciliation standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in inpatient Med Surg Oncology
- Certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; 12-hour day shifts and schedule variability
- Note: No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
