About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to serve as a senior executive responsible for the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise's cybersecurity program. The CISO will provide strategic leadership to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets and technology resources. This includes compliance with cybersecurity requirements, advancing the organization's cybersecurity maturity model, and aligning with national and international security frameworks. The role also involves developing and executing cybersecurity strategies to support the company's growth and integration initiatives. Candidates for the CISO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in information security, including at least 10 years in senior leadership roles. Extensive experience in a defense contracting environment with classified programs is essential, as is a proven track record in implementing and maintaining DoD cybersecurity compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NIST cybersecurity frameworks, CMMC requirements, and experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, and encryption solutions. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and build consensus are also key competencies for this role.
