Step into an engaging contract opportunity near Boston, MA, providing specialized physical therapy services in a vibrant educational setting. This position supports students from PreK through 8th grade, helping nurture their growth and foster independence. With a manageable caseload of 12 students, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference while building trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
Start as soon as possible and enjoy a consistent two-day schedule, working 13 hours each week through mid-June 2027. The role offers a pay range between $50-$55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
Candidates must hold an active Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts and have experience working with pediatric populations in school settings. Your skills will drive student progress while keeping their unique needs at the forefront of your practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience with school-based therapy preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions to students in PreK–8th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers and staff
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining thorough records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting discussions
- Educate staff and families about strategies to support student success
