Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH. As a PTA on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing direct care and assistance with physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists with the evaluation, planning, and implementation of patient care plans

• Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercise instruction, gait training, and education on proper body mechanics

• Use a variety of techniques, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, as directed by the physical therapist

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Ohio

• 0 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed
