Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred), CNOR (Preferred) Must-Have: Must have RN license in hand for offer Description: OR Registered Nurse position available. Must have current RN license for offer. Assignment length is 13 weeks. Shifts are 3x12 hours. Shift start times can vary. Years of experience required is 2. First timers are not accepted. Skills required include various surgical procedures. Additional certifications such as ACLS and CNOR are preferred. Weekend shifts are required. Call is limited to coverage for call-offs only. Floating to like units may occur as needed. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside a minimum of 50 miles from the facility. Time off will be approved on an individual basis. Guaranteed hours are 60 hours every 2 weeks. Travelers can be called off for one 12-hour shift every two weeks. Facility type is an acute hospital with 407 staffed beds. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is around 40 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available within the facility. Special equipment includes advanced surgical technologies. Holidays may require working during major holiday periods. References covering recent experience may be required.
