The General Manager is responsible for ensuring business objectives are achieved professionally, ethically, and in accordance with company policy and core values. The General Manager has a responsibility to influence core values by demonstrating them. Safety and Quality will be emphasized as priority over throughput and demonstrated in business planning through measurable annual results. Additionally, the General Manager is responsible for decisions which influence operational results including but not limited to profitability, plant direction, product mix and pricing. The General Manager has the management responsibility and authority for the total operation of an individual plant. He/she is accountable for results, development of KPIs, and continuous improvement.
