Staffing Specialist

Olive Branch, MS

Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

Base Salary + Uncapped Commission 

 

As a Staffing Specialist at Openwork, you'll be responsible for recruiting, placing, and supporting employees while helping our clients meet their staffing needs. This role supports high-volume staffing for clients in the warehouse and light industrial space, so you'll spend your day talking to candidates and employees, filling open positions, working with clients, and keeping things moving.

What You'll Do

• Recruit and interview candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach

• Manage the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding

• Recruit for high-volume warehouse and light industrial positions based on client needs

• Match candidates with job opportunities based on their skills, experience, and availability

• Stay in regular contact with employees throughout their assignments and help resolve questions or issues

• Build relationships with clients and understand their ongoing staffing needs

• Work closely with the sales team to fill open positions and identify opportunities to grow our business

• Market qualified candidates to clients and help move candidates through the hiring process

• Track recruiting activity, placements, and other performance metrics

• Help with payroll, timekeeping, compliance, and other branch operations as needed

• Stay organized and follow up consistently with candidates, employees, and clients

What We're Looking For

You'll do well in this role if you are:

• Comfortable talking to and building relationships with all kinds of people

• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once

• Self-motivated and willing to make the calls, send the messages, and do the follow-up needed to get results

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• A good problem solver who takes ownership and follows through

• Motivated by goals and enjoys seeing the results of your work

• Previous recruiting or staffing experience is helpful, but not required
