Job Summary:
A Sterile Processing Technician 2 position is available in Waxahachie, TX. This role involves performing a variety of duties related to cleaning, sterilization, processing, organizing, and distributing patient equipment, instruments, supplies, and products used in patient care and treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a temporary assignment, with an expected duration of 13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: Waxahachie, TX
• Shift Schedule: 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM 6:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (AHA Only), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT); education as HS-GED; no minimum years of experience required; work and location within the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of equipment and instrument sterilization methods and procedures, basic medical terminology, and effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Additional Information: Last updated on 06/08/2020. The role requires adherence to safety, environmental, manufacturer, and infection control practices; the ability to effectively collaborate and provide training or mentorship to Sterile Processing staff.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, starting July 13, 2026.
