Export Documentation Internship MSC USA - Charleston Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities: Job Summary Providesgeneralfollow upand dedicated customer service on the export documentation belonging to the assigned accounts according tocustomer’srequirements and MSC’s policies.Facilitates the approach between clients and MSC USA, acting as afirst point of contact for any inquiryrelatedto Export Documentation. Key Duties & Responsibilities Communicatesclearly with team membersregardingworkload, customer particulars, and problems. Liaisesbetween data entry teams and customers to ensure missing information isreceivedand customer’s requirements are understood via Standard Operating Procedures. Providesshipment details and bills of lading to customers when requested. Communicateswith overseas agencies to ensure corrections can beappliedand cargo is available for release. Updatesbillsof lading according tocustomer’srequests with little to no errors generated. Presence requiredon‑site 5 days per week Performs other duties asrequired. Qualifications Requirements Required skills, experience, education Bachelor’s degree preferredor equivalent experience English: advanced Strong attention to details Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive Ability to work under tight deadlines Great teamplayer Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software Preferred skills, experience, education Prior experience insupplychain, transportation, shipping,logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc. Physical Demands Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at a time Must be able to commute to the designated office location Presence required on‑site 5 days per week Work Authorization Authorization to work in the U.S This role requires working on-site in the office for five days aweek, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid workin this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
