Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner - NICU

Description Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is PT and will work 12-hour, Night shifts. Provides respiratory therapy to neonates as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care services to neonatal patients as prescribed by physicians. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and devices. Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to therapy in medical records. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program for Respiratory Therapy. Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association. Within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS - American Heart Association. Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization. Must be experienced in neonatal intubation. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: Current NBRC RRT Credential, NPS RRT for all therapists. 2 years recent work experience. Additional Information Location: Mission Hills, CA. Work Schedule: Part time, Night shifts. Pay Range: $43.39 - $67.37 base pay.
