Schedule/Hours:

• Night Shift, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend/holiday

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current RN license eligible within the state or compact status
• Minimum four years of ICU nursing experience (open to discussion for strong candidates with less)
• At least two travel assignments preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Familiarity with ICU protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation, and critical care technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide, coordinate, and evaluate critical patient care in a 13+ bed ICU setting with overflow capacity
• Conduct thorough assessments, initiate evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Manage cardiac drips, central line care, chest tubes, wound vacs, ventilators, and advanced oxygen therapy
• Utilize hemodynamic monitoring and manage complex multi-system care for adults and geriatric patients
• Serve as liaison for families and support staff, advocate for patient safety, and support quality improvement initiatives
• Support rapid response and adapt effectively to urgent, changing patient conditions
