General Foreman Pipe

The Pipefitter Foreman is a key leader on our mechanical teams, responsible for overseeing all phases of piping installation with precision, efficiency, and a deep commitment to quality. From coordinating crews and planning daily tasks to solving layout challenges and ensuring code compliance, this role plays a vital part in driving projects forward on time and within scope. In this role, you'll lead by example-drawing on your experience with industrial piping, welding, rigging, and system testing-while mentoring journeymen and apprentices to uphold the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. You'll collaborate closely with superintendents, project managers, and other trades to keep work flowing and resolve issues in real time. Pipefitter Foremen are valued for their leadership in the field, their technical expertise, and their ability to build strong, reliable teams. Their impact is seen in the quality of the systems delivered and the success of the projects completed. Summary of Duties Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work. Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all onsite crew activities. Supervise and coordinate all on site field operations of RK Mechanical, Inc. and associated sub-contractors. Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs. Primary Responsibilities Work within the perimeters of the project budget. Ensure quality craftsmanship on all mechanical system installations. Develop 'Master Plan' approach for project. Execute, supervise and maintain CPMI. Schedule daily and weekly scope of work activities. Material, tool, and equipment requisitions. Maintain proper journeyman to apprentice ratio. Code compliance. Conflict resolution. Assist Corporate Safety Managers as requested. Customer satisfaction and public relations liaison. Accountability Comply with all company policies and procedures. All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected. RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, site specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 30. Project Foreman Plumbing requires a minimum of Journeyman Plumbers License. Minimum Physical Requirements Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. Work in all types of weather. Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
