Job Title: 51101 - Travel - Radiation Therapist


Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
Start Date: 06/29/2026
Hourly Pay Rate: $70.35


Summary:
Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed according to established practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as a liaison between providers and support staff; preparing equipment, such as immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files. May assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other duties may be assigned within scope of practice.


Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate to the population in his/her assigned area
• Maintains required core competencies
• Complies with set Policies and Procedures (i.e., name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.)


Requirements:
• Education: Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent
• Experience: Performs related responsibilities as assigned; two to five years of clinical experience preferred; IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience preferred
• Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) card
• Must have New Mexico Licensure upon hire

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
