We are located at 100 Chapin Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701. We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces following infection control guidelines
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly, including biohazard materials
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Follow established safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control standards preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work on feet for extended periods
