The company has been in business over 50 years and this opening is a growth position. This is an opportunity to grow within the ranks of the service department as they continue to grow. About the job: Inspect, diagnose & perform repairs to customer’s equipment in-house & on-site at customer locations. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when needed. Maintain and manage parts inventory on your service truck. Prepare for field service jobs by loading the required materials and parts to perform work at customer location. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs. Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings. Keep up to date with factory training, tech tips and service bulletins. Maintain detailed records and documents of equipment, including repair history. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour+ opportunity to earn commissions and work overtime. First year range is 72K - 93K with no cap on earnings. Company truck + company credit card for gas and ordering parts/supplies. Tablet, cell phone and continued education is provided. Full medical, dental, vision, 401k. Requirements 3+ years experience working in a shop or in the field on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems or experience heavy equipment maintenance experience.
