Meet Our Team:

Renewals are key pieces of the engine of any subscription business, and this role is firmly in the driver’s seat. In addition to help shape the renewal strategy for many accounts, this role is critical in coordinating the execution across Sales, Client Success, Business Officer, and Finance teams. You will also engage directly with clients as necessary to close renewals and maintain a high retention rate. Joining this growing team will also allow you to shape and improve our internal playbooks to achieve even greater results as we scale up the Renewals function.

As a Renewals Specialist, not only are you responsible for mission-critical renewals but you also help steward maintaining Pega’s “as-a-Service” business model. Renewals team members work day-to-day with Sales, Business Officers, Client Success, Finance teams, and our Clients to finalize renewals, manage the growing renewals book of business, and evangelize increasing renewals data visibility throughout the company.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Engage with Sales, Business Officers, and Client Success to execute account renewal strategies, including saving any at-risk and late renewals.

• Take initiative to remove friction from the buying process when assisting teams securing internal approvals and submitting offer packages to clients.

• Research and report on renewals, churn, entitlements, and usage.

• Ensure renewal data is accurately maintained in system of record.

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to create a more mature, effective, and AI-supported Renewals management system.

• Support the continuous improvement of templates, playbooks, and workflow processes to improve our retention rates.

Who You Are:

You are just as happy picking up the phone to work with colleagues or clients as you are diving deep into a trove of retention data. You have a keen eye for detail when reviewing contract terms and can also step back to see the big picture to improve our strategy and workflows for renewals processing. Familiar with the as-a-Service business model, you are keen to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a growing team within a growing organization. You have familiarity with AI tools and have a strong willingness to develop new skills. Equal parts collaborator, problem-solver, and results-getter, you understand the importance of getting the right things done and doing things right.

What You've Accomplished:

• 2+ year previous experience in software renewals, renewals data, account management and analyzing software usage is preferred.

• Must thrive in an environment of measurable performance management.

• Must have the ability to elicit action from others and build relationships both internally and externally.

• Account planning experience and involvement in the alignment of sales, legal, client success, partner, professional services, and support around Renewal events.

Base salary range for this role is BRL annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
