The General Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, mechanical systems, and infrastructure. This position supports safe and efficient operations by ensuring equipment and site assets are maintained in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

- Perform general maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, piping, valves, pumps, and facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and site infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs to minimize downtime.
- Assist other trades and departments during maintenance outages or special projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain 100% "Safety Standards and Accountability" in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
- Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
- Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
- Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
- Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
- Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
- Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
- Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
- Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of general mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Basic understanding of pumps, motors, valves, and piping systems.
- Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs quickly.
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools required.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in oil and gas, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurements will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
