Vibe City is a Missouri-licensed cannabis retailer operating multiple locations across the state. We run a disciplined, compliance-driven operation - and our security team is a core part of how we do that. Our guards aren't window dressing. They're trained, respected, and held to a professional standard that matches the role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Security at a licensed cannabis dispensary is a regulated, compliance-driven role. You are responsible for the safety of the building, the product, the staff, and the guests - and you carry yourself accordingly.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Control access to the facility - verify valid government-issued ID for all guests
- Monitor the sales floor and entry areas to deter theft, diversion, and policy violations
- Maintain a visible, professional presence that is welcoming to guests and protective of the facility - the two are not in conflict
- Monitor video surveillance systems in compliance with Missouri DHSS-DCR facility security regulations
- Respond to disturbances, medical situations, or policy conflicts with calm, professional judgment - de-escalation comes first
- Complete shift logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time
- Coordinate with store management on any safety, security, or compliance incidents
- Comply with all Missouri DHSS-DCR regulations and Vibe City security SOPs at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Must be 21 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Missouri DHSS-DCR Facility Agent ID before working (we walk you through the process)
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and professional in every interaction
- Sound judgment - you will face situations where the policy is clear but the application isn't
Preferred:
- Military service (any branch) - veterans strongly encouraged to apply; bring your DD-214
- Prior licensed security experience
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
- Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, or incident documentation

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $20.00/hr to start
- 15-hour shifts · Full-Time
