Job Title: Food Prep Operator

Location: Alexandria, VA 22304

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $14.00/hr.
• 2nd Shift 7 AM - 3:30 PM | $14.00/hr.
• 3rd Shift 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM | $14.50/hr.
• 4th Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | $14.50/hr.
• 5th Shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM | $14.50.hr.

Schedule Details:

During orientation, specific workdays (weekdays/weekends) will be assigned. You will learn your days off on the first day of orientation; however, your finalized schedule will be provided that day. All schedules are full-time and typically consist of five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation using the sous vide method.
• Follow recipes and production instructions.
• Perform light assembly and packaging of food items.
• Operate pallet jacks and assist with material handling.
• Support inventory, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment
• Comply with SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety, Health and Safety, and company policies and procedures; ensure standards consistently meet expectations.
• Position requires the ability to bend, stoop, and stand for lengthy periods of time; ability to work under strict production timeframes; ability to perform tasks that may include repetitive motions.

• Must be flexible to work assigned days, and whichever shift you are assigned to will be their shift, no changes
• Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse work is a plus – but not required
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, on time, and a strong team player
• Candidates must be able to understand and communicate in English

Working Conditions:

• This job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 50&degree;F.60&degree;F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery and forklift truck operation
• The position requires the ability to lift up to 30-40 pounds regularly needed for your work, and occasionally perform activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required in this role.
