Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with Level 2 trauma experience for a night shift Operating Room position. Requirements Minimum 2 years of CST experience required Level 2 trauma experience required Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Gen/Gyn, and Urology procedures Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required Recent travel work experience highly preferred License required if applicable Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to Operating Room specialty required Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required Responsibilities 268-bed full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care, a Level 2 trauma center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center Operating Room unit providing advanced surgical care including structural heart, stroke, spine, cancer, orthopedic, and women's health procedures Utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotic-assisted technology Epic EMR system used Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Every third weekend required No call requirements 36 hours guaranteed per week Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and problem-solve in relation to procedures performed Verify items on physician preference cards and ensure accurate patient charges for supplies Properly use, assemble, clean, and sterilize equipment and instruments for surgical procedures Maintain and monitor the sterile field, recognizing breaks in technique Set up sterile fields with instruments in a timely manner Maintain accurate accounting of medications, sponges, instruments, and sharps per policy Hospital-provided dress code Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius for consideration, as local candidates are not considered No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
