Senior Paid Marketing Strategist

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Paid Marketing Strategist to help us rethink how Typeform approaches paid acquisition.

You’ll own and grow key channels including TikTok , YouTube , Google Performance Max and Uber Ads , while helping us test new opportunities across areas such as audio and CTV.

This is a hands on role with real ownership. You’ll manage significant media budgets, build channel strategy, develop campaigns, work closely with our creative teams, and help us understand the true business impact of our investment through MMM , incrementality testing and other measurement approaches.

You’ll join the Acquisition team within Marketing and partner closely with Creative, Product Marketing, Data, RevOps and Finance.

What you’ll do

• Own the strategy and day to day performance of key paid social and display channels, including TikTok , YouTube , Google Performance Max and Uber Ads .
• Build a multichannel strategy that helps Typeform reduce its reliance on paid search and find new sources of efficient growth.
• Manage six figure monthly media budgets , making decisions based on customer acquisition, revenue, CAC and LTV to CAC performance.
• Build, launch and optimise campaigns that drive Typeform signups and new paid customers.
• Turn creative ideas into campaigns by briefing and partnering closely with copywriters and designers.
• Run A/B tests across creative, copy, landing pages, placements, audiences and bidding strategies.
• Explore and test new channels such as audio and CTV.
• Own and develop our paid marketing measurement approach, including Marketing Mix Modelling , incrementality studies and alternative measurement frameworks.
• Design experiments that help us understand the incremental impact of our campaigns rather than relying solely on traditional attribution.
• Work closely with our Tracking and Data teams to strengthen our measurement capabilities as digital advertising continues to change.
• Share insights, results and recommendations across Marketing and the wider business.
• Contribute to Typeform’s broader full funnel acquisition strategy across demand creation and demand capture.

What we’re looking for

• Around six or more years of hands on and strategic experience in performance marketing and media buying.
• Strong experience managing paid social and video channels, ideally including TikTok , YouTube and Meta .
• Experience owning campaigns from initial idea and creative brief through implementation, optimisation and measurement.
• A track record of managing six figure budgets and delivering efficient performance.
• Experience working with MMM , incrementality testing or other measurement methods beyond traditional attribution.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with campaign performance, conversion funnels, CAC and LTV .
• A strong understanding of digital measurement, from tagging and attribution through to incrementality.
• Experience developing creative and UGC assets for paid social channels.
• The ability to balance creative thinking with strong commercial judgement.
• Curiosity and a willingness to figure things out. When you do not know the answer, you know how to find it, whether that means speaking to the right person, digging into documentation or using AI tools.
• Confidence working across teams and influencing partners in Creative, Product Marketing, Data and Finance.
• Comfort operating with uncertainty. You are happy testing ideas, learning from the results and changing direction when the data tells you to.

• Experience working in SaaS or B2B lead generation .
• Experience across sales technology or marketing technology.
• Experience managing external agencies or digital production partners.
• Experience with ad servers and campaign trafficking.
