Visit us at  Proposal: Contingent upon awardTitle: BI/Dashboard DeveloperClient: Federal AgencyLocation: Washington, D.C. - OnsiteClearance: Public TrustSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.Number of Position(s): 1Work Schedule: 8 am – 5 pmWork Day: Monday – Friday Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a BI / Dashboard Developer to support a federal agency's IT Financial Management modernization, Working Capital Fund (WCF), financial reporting, and data analytics initiatives.The BI / Dashboard Developer will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualization products that improve financial transparency, operational awareness, and executive decision-making. This role will support the transformation of complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for government leadership, program managers, and financial stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, financial reporting solutions, data models, analytics products, and automated reporting workflows. The candidate should understand federal financial management environments and have experience translating business requirements into effective visualization and reporting solutions.This position requires a candidate who can collaborate with financial analysts, program managers, data engineers, and government stakeholders to deliver accurate, user-friendly, and mission-focused reporting solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions supporting federal financial management programs.Develop interactive dashboards and data visualization products using Microsoft Power BI.Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, performance indicators, risks, and improvement opportunities.Translate financial management requirements into dashboard designs, reporting specifications, and analytics solutions.Develop data models, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting products to support:Working Capital Fund reportingCost model analysisFinancial performance trackingBudget execution monitoringResource utilization analysisExecutive decision-makingCreate automated reporting solutions to reduce manual data collection and reporting processes.Collaborate with financial analysts and business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure dashboard accuracy.Integrate data from multiple sources and systems into reporting solutions.Develop dashboards supporting:Financial metricsCost allocationBilling activitiesRate analysisProgram performanceOperational reportingSupport data visualization standards, reporting governance, and dashboard best practices.Document dashboard functionality, data sources, calculations, and user procedures.Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data quality challenges.Support audit readiness by maintaining reporting documentation, data lineage, and analytical records.Collaborate with technical teams supporting data integration, automation, and enterprise reporting solutions.Required QualificationsBachelor 's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience developing business intelligence solutions, dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualization products.Hands-on experience developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.Experience working with complex datasets and performing data analysis.Experience developing:Data modelsReportsDashboardsMetricsVisualizationsExperience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.Experience using SQL or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.Ability to communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
