Assembler / Production Associate

Job Title: Assembler
Location: Point of Rocks, Maryland
Schedule: Full-Time, Overtime Available
Position Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable Assembler to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble products, operate equipment, and support production operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to work at various stations as production needs change.
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and parts according to production specifications.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together.
• Cut materials and products to required measurements.
• Inspect products and remove defective items as needed.
• Operate machines performing fastening and assembly functions.
• Move between workstations based on production requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience required.
• Previous carpentry or construction experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Comfortable working overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently use hands for handling and assembling materials.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift and move:
  • Up to 25 lbs continuously
  • Up to 50 lbs frequently (Team Lift)
  • Up to 100 lbs occasionally (Team Lift)
• Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment requiring hearing and eye protection.
