PCB Design Engineer

The Work Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conducting component selection based on performance, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness. Performing high‑speed signal integrity analysis to ensure precise timing and mitigate EMI impacts. Developing power profiles and selecting onboard power regulation and distribution systems to meet the circuit's power requirements. Specifying PCB stack‑up criteria to optimize signal integrity and thermal management. Overseeing layout and routing activities to ensure adherence to design guidelines and standards. Creating and executing validation and integration plans to verify the performance and functionality of the circuit board designs. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience. Experience in circuit board design in either digital or analog. Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS. Knowledge of component selection, power distribution, and PCB stack‑up design. Ability to validate hardware and integrate with other PCBs and assemblies. Desired Skills Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Pay Rate and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This position is incentive plan eligible.
