Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at a respected short-term acute care setting with 232 staffed beds, supporting patients and a collaborative team. This contract position requires a quick start and offers a dynamic night shift schedule.

Schedule:

• Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Rotating weekends required
• Guaranteed hours with a maximum of one 12-hour call-off per two weeks

Qualifications:

• Valid TN Respiratory Therapist license required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RRT (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification and nursery experience preferred, but not required
• Willingness to adhere to all campus appearance policies: acceptable tattoos (below the neck, no inappropriate imagery), earrings limited to ears, and a smoke-free environment
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No pending licenses accepted
• Return-to-work or time-off requests considered on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapy to patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Utilize Paragon for charting and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to assess and plan patient treatment
• Provide emergency support and respond to respiratory codes as needed
• Contribute positively to the department, especially if bringing nursery experience
