At UnCruise Adventures, we work together to provide an enriching adventure experience while inspiring an appreciation of local cultures and the natural world. This means we kayak among icebergs, travel to hidden waterfalls, snorkel with sea lions, dive with manta rays, and share air with whales. Our destinations include Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands, Mexico's Sea of Cortes, and Costa Rica.

Crew perks include room and board when scheduled, a rotation schedule (6-8 weeks sailing with 2-3 weeks off), a travel stipend, pro deals, credential reimbursement (qualifications required), and health care benefits (once qualifications are met).

The Steward is a multi-talented and hard-working position. Main job responsibilities include serving meals, cleaning guest cabins and interior public spaces, assisting with bartending/cocktail service, and occasional galley duties. This is an extremely guest service focused position and requires a pleasant and accommodating demeanor at all times. The steward role is physically demanding and mentally challenging. The right candidate for this role will be able to constantly adapt to new situations while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Qualifications include minimum two years of experience in a full-service restaurant with strong wine knowledge and food terminology required, one to two years of experience in a housekeeping role preferred, ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be flexible and adaptable as daily activities change regularly and often, comfortable living and working in close quarters with other crew members, and passenger vessel experience is welcome but not required.

Required certificates, licenses, and registrations include ServSafe Allergens, Alaska Food Handler Permit, Alaska Alcohol Server Permit - Must be 21 or over to serve, CPR / First Aid / AED, and Government ID (REAL ID compliant) or Passport.

Essential duties include dining room service, housekeeping, and safety, security, and training.

Onboard environment/physical demands/employment compliance include living conditions, length of work shift, mobility, handling and strength, environmental conditions, DOT drug testing, allergens, and medical review.

Base pay is $131/day + $70 tip guaranteed. Pay range is $131 - $131 USD.
