Position MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mission Hills, California. Assignment Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12‑hour night shifts Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN license Graduate of an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS certification 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care ICU setting Additional client‑specified requirements Responsibilities ICU/Critical Care RN manages the care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, intensive therapies, and interventions. Provide direct patient care, education, and support to patients and families. Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patients’ status. Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration. Assist with emergency nursing procedures to promptly manage changes in patients’ conditions. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
