What You'll Do

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, prioritizing based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to track progress and identify interventions needed
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs
• Make informed nursing decisions based on evaluations and patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education, including discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing and document interventions timely
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care and transfer responsibilities effectively
• Act as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff, fostering a positive environment

What You Need

• Required:
  • Current RN license in NM or a compact state
  • BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH, CPI/De-Escalation, PALS certifications
  • Relevant experience and knowledge for the patient population
  • Strong communication skills
• Preferred:
  • Additional certifications based on unit needs
  • Prior experience in acute or hospital settings
