Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. Salary: $2024-2154/week* (estimated payments include wages and expense reimbursement, are based on information available to Fusion at time of posting, and could vary depending on factors related to the facility or applicant. Estimated payments do not include taxes, insurance, or other deductions that may occur.)

Hours: 3 X 12

Trauma Center: Level I

Charting System: Altera (Sunrise), Cerner (Cerner, Millennium, PowerChart), Citrix, Dell, Merative (Merge PACS)

Required Qualifications:

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Summary:

A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. These patients require frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. They assess and manage complex patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
