About the Position
Our client is seeking a Regional CDL A Driver based in Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves operating within a 700-mile radius of Kansas City and delivering farm and home products to stores throughout the region. Most freight is no-touch, with light-touch delivery responsibilities.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $360 per day
- Guaranteed pay of $1,800 for a five-day workweek
- Saturday night runs: $28 per hour
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Occasional Saturday work may be required
- Hours per week: 40
- Employment type: Long-term flex
Job Details
- Route type: Regional
- Operating area: Within 700 miles of Kansas City
- Delivery locations: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas
- Freight: Farm and home products, primarily palletized feed
- Freight handling: Mostly no-touch with light-touch delivery responsibilities
- Equipment: Electric pallet jack and, at some stops, a manual pallet jack
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on regional routes
- Deliver palletized products to farm stores and other designated locations
- Use an electric pallet jack and manual pallet jack as required
- Complete multiple stops each week based on assigned routes
- Maintain compliance with applicable safety and transportation regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
