Rugs Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Job Title Rugs Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift Overview Shaw Industries is recruiting a supervisor to manage the rug department at Plant 1R, focusing on safety, quality, and team development. The role collaborates with plant management, human resources, and associates to improve teamwork and achieve results. Responsibilities Work a flexible schedule and provide support for each shift. Accurate control of all materials entering and exiting the rug department. Oversee team development, onboarding, and training. Facilitate improvements to department procedures and processes. Maintain process measurements to drive improvements. Ensure all safety requirements are met. Audit log sheets, housekeeping, and daily tasks to ensure completion. Work in a professional manner with internal and external customers. Assist with trailer movement, shipping/receiving, and inventory as needed. Maintain timesheets, apply coaching techniques, and conduct one-to-one discussions. Coordinate any other applicable responsibilities as needed to support the department. Requirements 1+ years of manufacturing or logistics experience as a Supervisor or Manager. High School Diploma/GED. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar computer software.
