CDI Specialist - Inpatient

Overview We are seeking experienced Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDE/CDI) professionals to support concurrent and retrospective review workflows during a large health system integration. This is a high-priority opportunity for candidates with strong second-level review experience, DRG optimization expertise, and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Start Date: ASAP Duration: ongoing Shift: 8 Hour Days Hours Per Week: 40 Job Requirements Required Skills: Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDI/CDE), second-level reviews, DRG optimization, mortality reviews, concurrent and retrospective reviews, provider queries, MS-DRGs, CC/MCC capture, SOI/ROM, and clinical validation. Education: RN # of years’ experience: 3+ years of inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity/Clinical Documentation Excellence experience. Active RN license.
