Job Title Operations Supervisor - 1st Shift Primary Location Wichita Service/Completion Center Benefits Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance & development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required) Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications You have 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures You have leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance (preferred) Possess an A&P certificate or certificated under FAR (part 65) Be familiar with aircraft inspection system & procedures Be familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people Have strong organizational and planning skills EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, age, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by Federal, National, or Local Laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
