Responsibilities and tasks may be modified, expanded, or adjusted to reflect business needs or management requests.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience and/or Training:1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably in metal or coating production.Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is preferred.Strong understanding of material handling practices in a manufacturing setting.Ability to safely handle and store metal materials, chemicals, and coatings.Basic math and measurement skills to assist with material preparation and stock counts.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, especially for hazardous materials.Ability to operate inventory management systems and maintain accurate records.Physical and Mental DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas.Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level.Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.Travel: Not ApplicableThe mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
