Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Hybrid

Position Overview Headlight is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join a hybrid team in Portland, serving our Medication Management and Interventional Psychiatry teams with TMS and Spravato treatments. Candidates must hold a current PMHNP license and be willing to cross‑license in California or already hold a California license. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders. Provide individual and group therapy to patients. Prescribe and monitor medications as necessary. Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress. Assist in developing individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders. Participate in community outreach and education. Work a hybrid model, with a minimum of 3–4 days per week in the office depending on location. Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of experience post‑licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting. Master’s degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing. Board certification via ANCC or AANP. Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (based on clinic location). Active DEA registration for the state in which prescribing occurs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Proficiency with electronic health record systems; familiarity with NextGen highly desirable. Strong computer literacy and ability to adapt to new technologies. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus, but not required.
