Position reports to the assigned Dockmaster. This is a seasonal position that generally runs from October 1 through November 15. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening, and possible poor weather conditions. Examples of duties Must be at least 16 years of age and capable of lifting heavy equipment up to 75 lbs. Previous power-washing experience preferred. Must possess the demonstrated ability to follow directions. Must possess the demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team. Qualifications Sets up the power washing equipment, which includes the power washers, the wash mat, and the water recycling trailers. Power washes boat bottoms as the vessels are hauled from the water in a careful but thorough manner. Ensures the filtration system is clear of materials that might clog the equipment. Cleans up and puts away the equipment at the end of each day, and/or moves it to other locations. Completes other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager. Additional Responsibilities Reports for work on time. Reports all defective equipment and accidents to the supervisor/manager. Performs duties in a courteous and efficient manner.
